As a Security Officer Full Time Roving Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic cultural institution, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support a welcoming location through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable, agile approach while contributing to a positive experience for staff, visitors, and guests.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter, noting maintenance concerns, unsecured areas, and/or policy violations that could impact daily operations.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, common areas, and/or visitor activity to help support authorized access and a professional environment within a cultural institution setting.
• Assist with security-related support during meetings, events, and/or high-traffic periods by providing directions, answering questions, and reporting concerns according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
