This hands-on role ensures timely employee wage payments, resolves payroll discrepancies, maintains accurate system data, prepares regular reports, and conducts audits to keep operations running seamlessly.WHAT WE OFFERA fun workplace where you can be yourself and do awesome work!Free movies & foodPaid time offCompetitive payFlexible schedulingMedical, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, and voluntary benefits are available for all full-time and part-time teammatesOUR MISSIONTo Ensure EVERY Guest and Teammate Has An AWESOME Experience And Is EXCITED To Come BackThis role follows a fixed hybrid schedule, requiring two designated in-office days per week at our Austin location and three remote workdays.CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIESPayroll Processing: Assist in preparing and submitting weekly and bi-weekly payroll runsData Entry: Review weekly time cards, track adjustments, and process variable inputs including termination payoutsVendor Coordination: Partner with our third-party vendor to manage garnishment executions, settle payments, and handle the check registerReporting & Auditing: Generate wage, tax, and deduction reports while importing operational data from third-party tracking systemsInternal Teammate Support: Serve as a knowledgeable, empathetic point of contact to promptly investigate and resolve payroll questions and discrepanciesCompliance & Values: Maintain total data confidentiality and uphold company operational guidelines, code of conduct, and core valuesPerforms other duties and tasks, as requiredQUALIFICATIONS1–3 years of general work experience in hospitality, retail, or customer service1 - 3 years of experience in HR/People a plus1 - 3 years hands-on payroll experience a plusExperience utilizing Workday a plusExperience working within a multi-unit company supporting a diverse, hourly workforceSolid understanding of Google SuitePossesses strong organizational and time management skillsStrong attention to detailA teammate first mindset with dedication to internal customer service and company cultureStrong verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with peers, management, teammates, and vendorsA roll up your sleeves and dive in approach with willingness to assist other functions as needed to achieve or exceed department and company business objectivesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionOUR CORE VALUESDO THE RIGHT THINGWe strive to be a force of good in our company, in our industry and in the world.
