Accounting AssistantLocation: Tulsa, OK Type: Contract To Hire Compensation: $22-26/hr Work Model: Onsite Hours: 40.0 Security Clearance: Not specifiedResponsibilitiesSupport the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliations, data entry, and general accounting functionsEnter financial data accurately into accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or similarReconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accountsAssist with invoice processing, payment applications, and collections activitiesPrepare and maintain financial records, reports, and supporting documentationSupport month-end and year-end closing activitiesAssist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements as neededMaintain vendor and customer records and respond to account inquiriesEnsure compliance with company policies and accounting proceduresProvide administrative support to the accounting and finance teamAssist with special projects and other accounting duties as assignedRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferredMinimum of 1-3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related experience preferredBasic understanding of accounting principles and financial processesExperience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or similar systems preferredProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applicationsStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial informationStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in manufacturing, healthcare, professional services, nonprofit, or corporate environmentExposure to payroll processing and account reconciliationsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with a teamSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
