Regional Sales DirectorUnited States San Francisco The Regional Sales Director is a driven, results-oriented sales professional with a strong understanding of the U.S. retail landscape. This role is responsible for sales performance across a portfolio of key national customers, developing and executing customer-specific strategies, building strong relationships with buyers and brokers, and managing account profitability, including trade spend and promotional planning. The ideal candidate takes an entrepreneurial approach to managing both existing and new accounts and has experience calling on major club channel retailers (Costco, Sam's Club, and BJs Wholesale) at the HQ level. This role will be part of the Lotus Bakeries Natural Foods U.S. Sales team, reporting to the Head of Sales - Natural Food US.Job DescriptionKey Result AreasStrategic Account Management: Own annual sales targets and business plans for assigned accounts including Costco, Sam's Club, and BJs Wholesale.Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts, brokers, and distributor partners to ensure best-in-class execution and long-term growth.Retail Execution: Conduct store visits as needed to assess in-market performance, identify improvement areas, and ensure execution of trade initiatives.Budget Management: Guarantee strong profitability of your accounts. Manage trade spending and ensure efficient allocation of promotional dollars within assigned accounts.Reporting/Analysis: Collaborate with Category on analyzing and interpreting weekly and monthly sales trends across accounts - turning analysis into actionable insights.Representation: Represent Lotus Bakeries at customer meetings, industry conferences, broker summits, and trade shows.Profile8+ years or more of progressive CPG experience; food experience a plusUnderstanding of the U.S. retail markets with specific experience with key customers in the Club channel across regions.Solid financial acumen to assess and determine viability of commercial proposals.Strong planning, forecasting, trade management, and customer management skills with excellent attention to detailExperience utilizing and analyzing syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI, SPINS, etc.) and applying it to build compelling sales presentations.Ability to travel as necessary for customer meetings and conferences.Proven business development track record with a passion to grow the business and sell in innovation.Have strong computer skills including an elevated level of proficiency in MS Office, specifically PowerPoint & ExcelTestimonialI love the ownership you get in your role to work towards great results.
