About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Strategic Accounts to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and managing key relationships with targeted entities to drive revenue and profitability. This role is pivotal in the development and execution of account strategies, driving sales growth, and improving customer satisfaction within the healthcare industry. The VP will work closely with sales leadership, leveraging internal resources to achieve strategic growth, and will be directly accountable for the management of national accounts and their associated goals. Applicants must have a strong background in healthcare sales, with a focus on managing and negotiating contracts with GPOs and IDNs. A minimum of 5 years' experience in this area is required, with a preference for candidates with at least 10 years' experience. The role demands a deep understanding of the health system customer base, the ability to navigate complex hierarchies, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. Strategic thinking, planning, and execution skills are essential, as is the ability to travel extensively. The VP will also be involved in the development of marketing plans, coordination of industry shows, and must be adept at using technology to solidify customer relationships.
