Job Title: Step Down Registered Nurse Location: Charlottesville, VA Setting: Hospital Pay Range: 1956.68 - 2054.51 Schedule: 07:00 - 19:00 Contract Length: 13 weeks Candidate Type: Traveler Requirements: BLS, ACLS, NIH, Must have Epic experience, Must adhere to UVAs float policy, Can submit with VA license pending

Responsibilities:

Provide specialized nursing care to neuro trauma and neuroscience patients on a critical care unit.
Monitor and assess patient conditions utilizing neuro principles and critical care practices.
Document patient progress and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal care.
Follow hospital policies regarding patient safety, protocols, and float requirements.
Work every other weekend, every other holiday, and two out of three winter holidays.
