Full-Stack Developer, Python/React DeveloperMarathon TS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-Stack Developer, Python/React Developer to join its team. In this role, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing and sustaining Natural Language Processing (NLP) and web scraping solutions and other solutions to enhance the capabilities of our government partner's tools.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain web applications using Python, React, and FlaskCreate and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between the front-end and back-end systemsOptimize application performance and ensure scalabilityWrite clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practicesTroubleshoot and debug issues as they ariseR&D: Stay up to date with the latest advancements, industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our development processesTechnical leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and operations teams, to gather requirements and formulate them into feasible solutions for the unitCommunication: Lead interactions with operational and technical stakeholders to present findings, insights, and recommendations to in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and through reports or presentations.Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior data scientists, data analysts, and/or software engineers, providing technical expertise and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learningCandidates MUST possess the ability to obtain a government security clearance and candidates with existing security clearances will be considered first.Minimum required skills, experience and education:4+ years of proven Full-stack development experience, including both front-end and back-end developmentUndergraduate or bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered)Proficiency in Python, Node.js, HTML, JavaScript, ReactFamiliarity with Docker and AWS infrastructureStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on complex challenges and deliver impactful solutions.Strong sense of curiosity and ability to self-learn; willingness to research, design, test & productize Client solutions and learn from open-ended experimentsExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders.Understanding of data security principlesMust be capable of obtaining and maintaining a US Govt. security clearanceMarathon TS is committed to the development of a creative, diverse and inclusive work environment.
