Payroll/ HR Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Payroll & Human Resources Specialist to join our team. This role combines payroll administration with key HR responsibilities, supporting employees and leaders across the organization while ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and a positive employee experience. Key Responsibilities Process bi-weekly payroll for 450+ employees across multiple states Support monthly international payroll processing Audit payroll records, timecards, and resolve discrepancies Maintain payroll, benefits, leave, and employee records Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee record management Coordinate training programs and maintain training documentation Assist with employee relations, recruiting activities, and compliance initiatives Partner with managers to address payroll and HR-related questions Support employee engagement and workplace safety programs Qualifications 5+ years of combined payroll and HR experience Strong understanding of payroll administration and employment law Experience with multi-state payroll processing Working knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Experience with employee relations and workplace investigations preferred International payroll or manufacturing experience is a plus If you are a detail-oriented payroll professional who enjoys balancing payroll operations with HR support, we'd love to hear from you.
