RNTTP Residency Program

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Focus on individual growth and development in practice and program management with increased levels of self-direction.
• The RNTTP Residency program consists of a comprehensive 12 month curriculum built upon standards related to clinical, leadership, and professional dimensions.
• Bring principles and theory with limited application of adult learning principles, teaching/learning methodologies, program management skills, and critical thinking skills.
• Participate in annual clinical training in support of/preparation of VA's 4th mission and/or other contingency needs.
• Perform personnel evaluation activities beyond a clerical capacity, advise management on matters related to employee performance, and exercise responsibility in program policy development and implementation.
