Associate Veterinarian

Position Overview Large Animal Medical Associates is a 3‑doctor large animal veterinary practice that primarily serves horses with some small ruminant and camelid clientele. We are seeking a part‑ or full‑time associate to join our team. Role Responsibilities Provide preventative medicine, internal medicine, dentistry, lameness, reproduction, acupuncture, and chiropractic care for equine patients. Perform ambulatory care and, when necessary, haul‑in patients for in‑house procedures. Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment including digital radiography, digital ultrasound, power dental equipment, video endoscopy, PRP, shockwave, and an in‑house CBC/blood chemistry machine. Collaborate with a tight‑knit team, maintain excellent communication, and support colleagues. Occasionally assist with on‑call duties shared equally among doctors. Qualifications DVM degree in good standing. Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in Vermont. At least one year of equine experience or completion of an equine internship.
