Are you an experienced legal assistant who thrives in a fast-paced law office environment? You might be just what we're looking for as our next personal injury legal assistant. We need someone to assist our attorneys and paralegals with litigation cases throughout the firm. You'll be in charge of managing office correspondence, including answering phone calls and emails, scheduling meetings and travel, and informing our legal team of upcoming deadlines, among other responsibilities. $20 - $25 hourly

• Coordinate travel and vendors for team meetings and depositions
• Submit documents electronically in both state and federal court, and request billing and medical records
• Work with attorneys and paralegals to draft pleadings, motions, subpoenas, affidavits, contracts, and briefs for case preparation, and edit documents when needed
• Conduct legal research with the assistance of lawyers and paralegals and have a working knowledge of medical terminology
• Speak with expert witnesses as well as clients, other vendors, and medical professionals

• Proficient with MS Office products
• Candidates should have strong organizational and communication skills
• Associate’s degree, or some college is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is necessary
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a personal injury law firm or office environment as an administrative assistant or secretary
• Candidates must have worked with legal software, case management, and docketing programs
