Echo Cardiogram Technician - Cardiology - Per Diem 8 Hour Variable Shift (Union)

Under general supervision of the Clinical Director, the Echocardiogram Technologist is responsible and accountable for performing Cardiac Ultrasound procedures: Transthoracic echocardiograms (including neonatal exam), Stress Echocardiograms (Treadmill and Dobutamine), assisting in Transesophageal Echocardiograms as ordered by physician, according to established standards and protocols. Performs a variety of other cardiac tests including EKG, Treadmill, and pharmacological Stress Tests. Qualifications Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum Experience: At least 2 years of Cardiac Ultrasound experience in a hospital setting (preferred). Required License/Certification: ARDMS/CCI certification required. Current BLS certificate; BLS must be AHA certified. Hourly rate: $52.93 per hour.
