Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, screen visitors and deliveries, and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment. In this role, you will remain visible, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication while reflecting a culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Daytime (Fri-Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM) What You’ll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Screen incoming and outgoing individuals, vehicles, packages, and/or deliveries in accordance with post procedures, documenting unusual activity and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, helping to support security-related protocols and business operations during routine and unusual conditions. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouses, entrances, and the perimeter, noting maintenance issues, access concerns, and/or policy violations. Monitor entry points and activity across the location to help deter unauthorized access, support traffic flow, and follow established communication and reporting procedures. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
