Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Welcome Desk Security Clearance in Salt Lake City, UT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Job Schedule:
DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access at the front desk by greeting guests, verifying identification and/or credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating entry procedures in accordance with location requirements.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through required documentation and/or communication channels.
- Support security-related operations at a professional aerospace and defense location by answering questions, directing foot traffic, and coordinating with site contacts regarding visitor access and delivery activity.
- Observe front lobby and reception areas for security-related concerns, help to deter unauthorized access, and notify appropriate personnel of issues that may require follow-up.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
