The Distributor Sales Insights Analyst supports Distributor sales teams by turning business questions into clear, actionable insights. This role conducts both ad hoc and recurring analysis using Claude and other Business Insights and Analytics tools, helps develop and deliver data-driven stories, and supports the creation of Decision Intelligence briefs for ongoing Distributor needs.

Depending on workload and technical experience, the analyst may also build simple, single-step agents after completing the required Decision Intelligence intake process with the Manager. This role is ideal for a strong analyst who has foundational business judgment and will grow from performing analysis to confidently making recommendations.

Candidates must reside in the Atlanta area to be considered for this role.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions

• Conduct ad hoc analysis for Divisional Vice Presidents and the Distributor Commercial Decision Partner Manager using Claude, Domo, and other available data sources. Review results for accuracy and relevance before sharing.

• Support the Manager in preparing Distributor business reviews, Annual Business Planning materials, and sales presentations by gathering insights, validating data, developing presentation content, and providing credibility as an insights resource in customer meetings.

• Help develop Decision Intelligence build briefs for Distributor needs by clearly documenting the business problem, required inputs and outputs, and success criteria. The analyst may build simple, single-step automations when appropriate, but must first complete an intake meeting led by the Manager.

• Share available analytical tools and capabilities with Distributor field teams and represent the insights function during customer meetings.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Education/Experience

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or two to three years of experience performing similar responsibilities

• 2+ years experience in business analytics or sales.

• Strong statistical skills; proficiency with Excel, data visualization, and BI tools

• Willingness to learn AI-powered analytics tools (Claude or similar)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for commercial audiences

Preferred:

• Familiarity with VIP data

• Comfort with simple agent building using Claude Code or similar tools

• Familiarity with syndicated CPG data

• CPG, Retail, consumer goods, commercial analytics or sales experience

Work Environment: Standard professional office environment with a hybrid work schedule. Employees are expected to work on-site 2–3 days per week, with specific in-office days determined by business needs, including collaboration, planning sessions, training activities, and other team or leadership meetings.

Travel: Minimal. Up to 20%
