Overview Exciting Opportunity for a Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Urgent Care Shift: 2 days on (12-hour shifts), 2 days off, then 5 days on, repeat cycle Compensation: $100-120/hour (W-2 or 1099) Join our team as a Nurse Practitioner in a dynamic Urgent Care setting. You\'ll collaborate with a dedicated Medical Assistant and front office staff, working alongside another NP on 12-hour shifts. The Urgent Care facility boasts its own Lab and Radiology services. During Summer, expect to see 10-15 patients daily, increasing to 15-20 patients during Winter. Your role involves providing primary healthcare, focusing on health maintenance, disease prevention, patient education, and counseling under physician supervision. Responsibilities Provide primary healthcare and patient counseling under physician supervision. Focus on health maintenance, disease prevention, and patient education. Collaborate with a Medical Assistant and front office staff in a Urgent Care setting. Qualifications Arizona license, NP certification, and DEA registration. Comfortable treating all ages and chronic diseases. PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications required. Background and drug screening mandatory. Experience with Evident EMR preferred.
