Veterinary Receptionist

Village Square Portola Valley Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you'll help create a welcoming and supportive experience for both pets and their families. You'll coordinate the daily flow of appointments, answer a multi-line phone system with professionalism, and ensure financial transactions are handled accurately. With each interaction, you'll provide clear information about our services and help guide clients with empathy and care. - Compensation: $24-26 per hour, for each hour worked*

- Ability to triage client calls by assessing urgency and directing appropriately
- Strong knowledge of common veterinary terms and procedures, including vaccine schedules and preventatives
- Ability to act as a liaison between the medical team and clients, ensuring clear, accurate, and empathetic communication
