Job Summary:
The Banquet Setup Attendant is responsible for the accurate and timely setup, maintenance, and
breakdown of banquet and event spaces in accordance with event orders and company standards. This
role ensures all meeting rooms and function areas are organized, clean, and prepared to provide
exceptional guest experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Set up banquet rooms according to event orders (BEOs), including tables, chairs, linens,
staging, dance floors, and décor
• Arrange meeting room configurations (e.g., classroom, theater, U-shape, rounds) based on
client specifications
• Ensure all event spaces are clean, organized, and presentable after, during, and after events
• Break down and reset rooms efficiently for subsequent events
• Coordinate with banquet captains, managers, and other departments to ensure seamless
event execution
• Inspect equipment prior to use and report any damages or maintenance issues
• Maintain an inventory of banquet equipment, linens, and supplies
• Assist with the movement and storage of furniture and equipment
• Ensure all setups meet safety standards and company policies
• Provide excellent internal and guest service when interacting with clients or event staff

• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry a weight of 25lbs

• Associate is often required to sit and use his or her hands and fingers to handle or feel

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous banquet, hospitality, or event setup experience is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
