Mental Health Support Specialist

Position Mental Health Support Specialists – Full‑time and Part‑time positions offering care and support at our Long‑Term Residential Programs . Schedule & Locations Full‑time or Part‑time: Mornings, Evenings and Weekends. Locations: Twin Cities, MN. Multiple locations throughout the metro area. Compensation Hiring Range: $20.50 per hour. Shift differential of $1 per hour for working 3:00 pm‑11:00 pm and 11:00 pm‑7:00 am. Hiring bonus: $1,000 for external candidates. Main Job Duties Must have physical presence onsite. Document interactions with clients into the organization’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) and, if applicable, program‑specific documentation/record‑keeping system, while providing clear and concise communication with client, staff and other applicable parties. Effectively interact and exhibit behavior that is consistent with customer service and professional standards established by the organization, division and program. Responsible for medication administration in accordance with organization and program policies and procedures. Using person‑centered principles, actively engage with clients in their daily activities, and develop and maintain appropriate relationships that support the client in meeting their individual goals. Provide crisis intervention and de‑escalation for clients experiencing mental health symptoms or other emotional responses while prioritizing client and program safety. Independent Living Skills – teaching and/or coaching, as it relates to the individual’s goal and/or treatment plans. Full‑time staff are part of an on‑call rotation.
