General Maintenance Technician 2Location: San Bernardino, CA, US, 92408 Store Number: MAINOFFICEUnion Position: Union - Teamsters Local 63 Employee Pay Type: Hourly Compensation: $37.04 – $43.14JOB SUMMARY: To maintain company facilities in a fully operational condition including maintaining a safe and accessible environment for employees and customers.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Trouble shooting electrical systemsInstall, remove, and repair plumbing systemsService, repair and replace equipmentService of automatic door systemsBasic carpentry maintenance and repairsFlooring installations, removal, and repairLock and finish hardware repairsLight emergency roof, ceiling, and parking lot repairsMust be available 24 hours for emergencies and available for shift workExhibit a high standard of personal and professional ethics, integrity, and fairnessParticipation in and completion of on-going safety training, equipment training and certifications as relating to job experienceTeach & Train Tech IDemonstrate a sense of urgency when servicing company needsAttendance at trade group meetings as authorized by companyStrong written and verbal communication skillsREQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:Must be at least 18 years of ageAA degree, WAFC, Trade School or equivalent job experienceFive (5) years of experience or equivalent education and training in facilities maintenance, and electrical systems, with emphasis on the maintenance of supermarket equipmentTroubleshoots and repairs commercial kitchen equipment, for example: Fryers, Ovens, Meat Saws, Grinders, Slicers, etc.Knowledge of how to use an electrical meterExperience inspecting the commercial kitchen equipment and their related components to ensure safe operationExperience and knowledge of Switches, Relays, Contactors, Capacitors, Solenoids, and TransformersAble to read equipment schematicsExperience with full-service commercial kitchen equipment repair departmentSpecialization in commercial cooking, and meat processing equipment along with building maintenanceExtensive knowledge of constructions trades; carpentry, plumbing, flooring and concreteValid California Driver License with clear driving recordCPR Certificate of Completion within 90 daysCertified in Ammonia Awareness within 90 daysMust pass a pre-employment physical and drug testAdditional Information: Applications will be received until a sufficient number of applications are received.
