Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and testing packaging solutions that protect, display, and handle products across programs.What You Will Be DoingAs the Packaging Engineer Sr you will be responsible for leading packaging design initiatives, ensuring compliance, and supporting logistics coordination.Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:- Collaborate with IPTs, suppliers, and the Shipping team to gather packaging and transportation requirements.- Develop system‑level and subsystem packaging designs, including Special Packaging Instructions.- Ensure regulatory compliance with DOT CFR 49 POP, ICAO, IMDG, ASTM D 3951, and applicable MIL‑SPECs.- Support POP testing activities and compile data for formal test reports.- Drive process improvements by evaluating emerging packaging materials and recommending cost‑effective alternatives.
