Responsibilities
- Perform MRI exams using Philips MRI systems, following established protocols and safety guidelines
- Screen patients for MRI contraindications, prepare and position patients, and select appropriate imaging sequences
- Monitor imaging procedures, ensure image quality and complete documentation in the electronic medical record (Epic)
- Collaborate with radiologists and unit staff to meet patient care and throughput goals
- Maintain MRI safety protocols, including equipment checks and patient monitoring; no on-call duties
- Schedule considerations: no block schedules; weekends 1–2 per month with flexibility to meet unit needs

Requirements
- BLS certification
- Active ARRT or ARMRIT license with MR advanced licensure
- Philips MRI system experience required
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
- Teaching hospital experience required
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Certifications: MRI Tech Certification Verification (Equivalency), BLS
- Reliable transportation required; public transportation not available in this area; personal or rental vehicle recommended; winter driving with appropriate tires advised
