ELECTION OFFICE STAFF - TEMPORARY

Election Office Staff - Temporary

The Charter Township of Chesterfield is now accepting applications for temporary staff to assist in election preparation. This is a part-time, hourly, temporary position.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Voter registration
• Absentee voter applications and ballots
• Preparing election day materials and equipment
• Packing precinct supplies
• Data entry, filing
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and reports.
• Ability to be flexible regarding performing duties as assigned, and be available to work extended hours, as necessary.
• Ability to perform duties and process information and requests with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
• Ability to be organized, multi-task, and complete work within established timelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to conduct oneself with tact and courtesy.

Applicants may be scheduled up to 37.5 hours per week with some required weekends and late-nights.

Hourly Rate: $22.00
