Originally opened as a temporary surge unit, 6C has successfully transitioned into a permanent nursing unit, creating an exciting opportunity for nurses who want to be part of a growing team from the ground up. About the Unit 6C is a general medical unit caring for adult patients with a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Nurses develop strong assessment and critical thinking skills while caring for patients with diverse medical diagnoses and varying levels of complexity. Pneumonia Syncope Diabetes management Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) Altered mental status General medical admissions requiring diagnostic evaluation and treatment Grow Your Career Professional development is a cornerstone of our team culture. This will be paid out in 6-month increments of $5,000.
