Business Analyst and Product Commercialization Lead

Location: Remote Employment: Full Time Reports to: Director, Product and Delivery Enablement (USA) Contract Model: Regular (CLT) About the Role FoodChain ID is looking for a Business Analyst and Product Commercialization Lead to join its Product Management team and support the Enterprise Solutions portfolio. This role connects product strategy, software development, and product commercialization , ensuring that ideas are translated into clear, development-ready requirements and that newly delivered functionality is properly prepared for customers and internal teams. The professional will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, QA, Services, Support, Sales, and subject matter experts, supporting the product lifecycle from requirements definition through release, documentation, training, and adoption . Key Responsibilities Translate product direction, customer needs, and SME input into epics, features, user stories, and clear acceptance criteria . Conduct business and process analysis to ensure requirements are development-ready and well understood by Engineering and QA. Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, and delivery coordination. Track development progress, dependencies, scope changes, and release readiness. Own release communications and release notes , translating technical changes into clear customer-facing content. Create and maintain product documentation, user guides, training materials, and enablement content . Prepare Services, Support, and Sales teams for new product functionality through internal enablement. Ensure customer-facing releases have the appropriate documentation, training, and communication in place. Track adoption and use support/customer feedback to identify opportunities to improve documentation and training. Leverage AI tools, including ChatGPT, Claude, or similar solutions , to improve and automate documentation, content maintenance, and reporting workflows. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Management, Product Commercialization, or a similar role within a software product environment. 2+ years working in Agile teams , ideally as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Scrum Master. Hands-on experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria for software development teams. Experience translating business and stakeholder needs into development-ready requirements. Experience producing customer-facing product documentation, release notes, user guides, or training materials . Strong written and verbal English communication skills , with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and customers. Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, and Kanban practices . Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence . Comfortable using AI tools to create, review, automate, and maintain content. Ability to work with product usage and support data to produce adoption and quality reporting. Professional English communication skills suitable for customer-facing and cross-functional interactions. Nice to Have Experience with Gherkin acceptance criteria . Background with enterprise SaaS, cloud solutions, system integrations, or enterprise implementations . Experience with product launches and commercialization readiness . Experience maintaining customer-facing documentation portals or knowledge bases. Experience creating or configuring AI agents/skills using Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools . Familiarity with product analytics and support ticket data. Experience or knowledge in food technology, food science, food compliance, PLM, or food-industry software .
