Primary Services is looking for a skilled Procurement Specialist to support a prestigious client in the energy and utilities industry. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to procurement operations for a large public company by supporting strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier engagements, and contract administration. The Procurement Specialist will partner with experienced procurement professionals to execute competitive sourcing events while helping improve procurement processes and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Support the development and execution of Requests for Proposal (RFPs) for electrical sourcing and procurement projects. Analyze procurement data and prepare reports to support sourcing decisions. Draft, review, and coordinate procurement contracts and related documentation. Support contract lifecycle management activities from initiation through execution. Perform operational procurement and strategic sourcing activities. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure efficient procurement operations. Maintain procurement documentation and sourcing records. Manage multiple procurement priorities while meeting established deadlines. Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and operational efficiency. Support senior procurement professionals with tactical and strategic sourcing initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of electrical sourcing and procurement experience. Experience developing and executing Requests for Proposal (RFPs). Knowledge of strategic sourcing and procurement best practices. Experience supporting contract drafting and contract administration. Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting procurement data. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Experience with ERP or procurement management systems preferred. Experience procuring operational services or materials preferred.
