Job Duties

• Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and design tailored therapy strategies aimed at achieving their personal functional goals.

• Collaborate Within Interdisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive and holistic care.
• Guide Patients and Their Families: Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques to promote continuous progress at home.
• Track and Document Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and update treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on track.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a nationally accredited institution.
• Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.

Certification Requirements

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
