Job Summary

Manages the daily operations of Rehabilitative Services to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization. Coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments. May provide patient care when necessary. Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies. Monitors and ensures compliance with department objectives. Collaborates with other unit leaders to meet system goals and objectives including patient safety and satisfaction. Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and provides appropriate remediation through coaching, counseling and action plans. Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, hiring, payroll, and student engagements.

Required Work Experience: One (1) year supervisory experience.
