Radiology Technologist - MRI (Part-Time, 3×12’s)

Seeking a Charge MRI Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures, primarily MRI, in a fast-paced hospital environment. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, independently conducting studies, troubleshooting, mentoring staff, and serving as a clinical resource. The technologist will oversee shift operations, coordinate workflow, and ensure quality control, while acting as a liaison between the team and supervision. Responsibilities include: Preparing patients and equipment for imaging procedures Performing studies independently and in on-call situations Managing shift operations, workflow, and prioritizing tasks Mentoring staff and assisting with difficult exams Serving as a clinical resource and problem solver Ensuring proper communication and supplies management Qualifications & Skills: Associate degree or higher in a related field 2-5 years of radiology experience, including MRI and operating room imaging Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) or equivalent Licenses such as IEMA (excluding MRI), ARRT, and other relevant certifications Preferred experience of 5-10 years and CPR certification Key Attributes: professional judgment, critical thinking, leadership, mentorship, and technical expertise with Siemens MRI machines.
