Radiology Technologist - MRI (Part-Time, 3×12 Shifts)

Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in an advanced modality environment, primarily MRI, within a busy hospital setting. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, independently conducting studies, and managing shift operations to ensure efficient workflow. The technologist serves as a clinical resource, troubleshooting complex exams, mentoring staff, and acting as a liaison between the team and supervisors. They may assume supervisory responsibilities in their absence and assist in training new staff and students. Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including MRI, with a focus on quality and accuracy. Manage daily workflow, prioritize tasks, and oversee shift operations. Troubleshoot technical issues, assist with difficult exams, and provide mentorship. Ensure proper patient preparation, safety, and equipment readiness. Delegate tasks and act as a clinical resource for staff technologists. Maintain supplies and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Qualifications & Skills: Associate degree or higher in a related field. Certification as a Registered Technologist (R.T.(R))) in Radiography or equivalent. 2-5 years of radiology experience; preferred experience of 5-10 years. Licenses and certifications such as IEMA, RTR, CT, MR, and others as applicable. Strong knowledge of MRI technology, equipment (Siemens MRI machines), and imaging protocols. Leadership, problem-solving, and mentoring abilities are essential. Full-time position with benefits, no call responsibilities. Day shift involving three 12-hour shifts per week; initial training on day shifts for about 3 months.
