Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team! You will plan physical rehabilitative programs to improve patient quality of life.Responsibilities:Answer phones, electronic scheduling/ Posting, verify insurance benefits, collect copay, faxing/fillingClean and organize work area and disinfect equipment after treatmentInstruct, motivate, safeguard, or assist patients practicing exercises or functional activities, under the direction of therapy staffChange linens, such as bedsheets and pillowcasesSecure patients into or onto therapy equipmentTeam player attitude, energetic, excellent customer service.Observe patients during treatment to compile and evaluate data on patients' responsesDevelop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitationWork directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recoveryEvaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progressRecord and document patient care servicesCollaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care Qualifications:Previous experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or other related fieldsAbility to handle physical workloadAbility to build rapport with patientsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong leadership qualitiesThe pay rate will be $$$/hour depending on experience.\nCompany DescriptionRehab Team Physical Therapy is a private outpatient practice that focuses on providing the highest quality rehabilitation services to patients, doctors, communities, and employers.
