Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager’s sole responsibility is to manage all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of our company’s facilities. Duties include maintaining machinery, planning repair activities, and developing maintenance procedures.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations.Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance.Maintain all machinery to ensure it’s at working standards.Create and implement maintenance procedures.Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolveproblems.Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.Ensure all department workers adhere to the safety policies andprocedures.Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs.Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies whennecessary.Follow safety regulations, policies, principles, and procedures. Utilizes allappropriate personal protective equipment.Education, Experience, & KSA'sHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, facility management or similar field is preferred.A minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance and in a management role.Advanced understanding of general mechanical procedures and techniques. In-depth knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.Skilled in usage of precise measurement tools, and a variety of hand power tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.Prioritizes safety by demonstrating safe work practices and promoting a safe work environment.Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentEmployee must be able to work to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Must be able to work in shop environment: i.e., heat & cold, dust, and noise.Protective equipment required for sight and hearing when walking and working around industrial woodworking and wood products manufacturing operations. #J-18808-Ljbffr Jfm-International
