On-Call RNs and LPNs Needed

Pleasant View Skilled Nursing Community in Ottawa is hiring On-Call RNs and LPNs for 12-hour shifts, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. $43.00/hour (RN) or $34.00/hour (LPN), plus shift differential. On-call, minimum 4 shifts per month including 1 weekend shift per month.

As an RN, you'll be the senior clinical decision-maker on the floor, leading care planning and serving as charge nurse for your shift. As an LPN, you'll provide direct nursing care and administer medications and treatments within your scope of practice. Both roles are essential to keeping residents safe and well cared for around the clock.

What you'll do:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including monitoring health status and responding to changes in condition
• Complete resident assessments and contribute to individualized care planning
• RNs: lead care planning, serve as charge nurse, and delegate and oversee tasks performed by LPNs and CNAs on the unit
• LPNs: administer medications and treatments within your scope of practice
• Communicate condition changes to the on-call provider and to residents' families
• Build trusting relationships with residents and families

What you'll need:

• Required: Active Illinois RN or LPN license
• Preferred: Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting
