Senior Trucking Account Manager or Account Executive

A privately held, growth-oriented company is seeking a seasoned Senior Trucking Account Manager or Account Executive for fleet or non-fleet Transportation Insurance to help drive new business production and fuel growth. The Senior Trucking Account Manager or Account Executive with the agency’s support and resources will drive growth in those verticals. The Senior Trucking Account Manager or Account Executive works closely with operations, finance, safety, marketing, and external vendors to optimize market positioning and grow their market penetration in this space. Positions job grade will be commiserate with experience. This role is preferred to be in office but consideration for remote will be offered for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Manage a robust sales pipeline to drive new business growth within the verticals you are targeting. Drive cross selling to other departments in the organization. Maintain and grow relationships with insurance carriers, ensuring strong market access and pricing advantages. Oversee submissions, quoting, and binding ensuring quality, compliance, and profitability. Conduct detailed risk assessments and implement safety and loss-control programs for clients. Partner with external underwriting to ensure clean submissions providing the necessary information for the respective lines of business they specialize in. Manage renewal strategies and ensure exceptional service delivery to your accounts. Leverage marketing and business development support that is offered to attract new insureds or retain existing insureds nationwide. Report production results, retention rates, and growth metrics to sales leadership. Qualifications Required: 5-7 + years of Progressive Insurance Experience With at least 3 years of experience in a senior role. In-depth understanding of Property and Casualty Lines of insurance. Strong leadership, mentoring, and organizational skills. Active Florida 2-20 General Lines License required or active home state license if not domiciled in FL. Preferred: Familiarity with agency management systems (Sales Force, Now Certs, or Similar) Six Sigma, Lean, or process improvement certification. Industry designations CPCU, CIC or similar. 10+ Years of Trucking Insurance Experience Strategic and operational leadership. Strong business and financial acumen. Analytical and problem-solving skills. High level of integrity and accountability. High Degree Of Confidentiality Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
