HVAC Controls Project Manager

We're seeking an HVAC Controls Project Manager in Houston, TX to lead the planning and execution of building automation systems projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities
- Lead assigned HVAC controls projects through hardware design, programming, installation, and commissioning.
- Direct subcontractors, technicians, and designers to keep work aligned with the project scope.
- Manage project financial results including billings, collections, and subcontractor payments.
- Maintain regular communication with customers and manage the change order process.
- Coordinate material selection, vendor pricing, and delivery schedules to meet deadlines.
- Validate system functionality and resolve technical issues with field teams.
- Provide accurate monthly forecasts for revenue, costs, and gross margins to management.
- Ensure all work complies with local codes and company safety policies.
- Deliver project documentation, as-builts, and owner training for successful handoff.

Requirements
Must-Haves
- Technical degree with four years of field experience or six years of total experience in HVAC controls.
- Hands-on experience in systems design and commissioning of building automation systems.
- Proven ability to manage project budgets and coordinate field resources.
- Strong computer skills including Windows and Microsoft Excel.
- Valid driver license and ability to work in a field-based environment.
Nice-to-Haves
- Bachelor degree in a technical or engineering field.
- Experience preparing project status reports for senior management.
- Familiarity with large-scale industrial or mission-critical facility controls.
