Operations Manager

This is a place where your talents will be recognized and your industry experience valued. We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead our Project Management and Recruiting teams in Baton Rouge. This is a customer facing role which is accountable for providing quality services to clients, coaching and development of operations employees and assuring successful execution of the operational initiatives for the company. The ideal candidate for this role is a hands‑on leader and someone who enjoys developing people, solving problems for clients, and keeping projects moving efficiently. What you'll do: Lead the Project Manager and Recruiting teams in successful execution of annual objectives, goals, and strategic initiatives Support professional development for all members of the operations staff Facilitate weekly operational meetings (team meetings/huddles/sprint meetings) Lead the performance management process for operations staff including annual and semi-annual performance reviews and corrective action where necessary Build and maintain the client relationship by regular check‑ins, site visits, and problem‑solving when issues come up Assign accounts and projects across the team, and manage department and project costs Spot opportunities to bring more value to our clients and grow the relationship Step in on incident investigations, corrective actions, and disciplinary matters when needed Assure fulfillment of all project placements and effectively manage turnover Manage, including initiation of, disciplinary action for violation of policy and procedures where applicable for field employees Keep our CRM and applicant tracking system accurate and current What we're looking for: At least 5 years’ experience in an operations management role, ideally in staffing, recruiting, or project management Bachelor’s degree preferred Ability to make decisions under pressure Strong relationship building skills Strong leadership skills Strong organizational skills be tracking multiple accounts, projects, and people at once Competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) match, PTO, and paid holidays. #J-18808-Ljbffr ResponsAble Safety Staffing
