Purchasing Clerk II Schedule: Part-Time – 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday About the Opportunity We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk II to support our R&D team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This temporary, part-time position is ideal for someone with purchasing or supply chain experience who enjoys working with vendors, engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time. If you're organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Work with vendors and engineering teams to obtain accurate pricing and quotations. Create and process purchase orders accurately and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements. Track purchase orders and confirm delivery status with suppliers and carriers. Maintain vendor records and update pricing information. Coordinate material deliveries with project teams across multiple locations. Resolve issues involving invoices, shipments, pricing discrepancies, or order status. Assist with monitoring inventory levels and reorder points. Support compliance with purchasing policies, quality standards, and vendor agreements. Maintain a strong commitment to product quality and patient safety by following all quality policies and procedures.

Additional Skills

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree preferred. Preferred Qualifications 1–2 years of purchasing or supply chain experience. Manufacturing industry experience is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Experience using ERP systems. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
