Demand Planner

My client, a leading nutritional products manufacturing company in Orange County, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Demand Planner to support forecasting and supply chain planning efforts in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. This role partners cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts, leveraging historical data, market trends, and customer insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage rolling demand forecasts at the SKU and customer level
• Analyze trends, promotions, and seasonality to adjust forecasts and improve accuracy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align demand plans with production and inventory strategies
• Lead demand review meetings and support the S&OP process
• Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities in demand planning and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform root cause analysis and enhance forecasting tools, reporting, and processes

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities
• Experience with planning systems (e.g., SAP, JDA/Blue Yonder, Kinaxis) preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
