Accounts Payable Support Specialist

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Support Specialist to manage and process all invoices received for payment. This role is responsible for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The position involves processing a high volume of invoices and maintaining accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of invoices and verify transaction information.
• Schedule and prepare disbursements and obtain authorization for payment.
• Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
• Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements.
• Perform independent research to identify any discrepancies and related transactions.
• Manage vendor-related queries and issues and communicate with internal stakeholders.
• Maintain historical records by filing documents electronically or physically.
• Participate in financial audits and assist in the resolution of audit findings.
