About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Development and Marketing Officer (CDMO) to join its executive leadership team. The CDMO will be responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, advancing the organization's brand, and strengthening donor engagement. This role requires a strategic leader with a minimum of 10 years' progressive fundraising experience, including at least 7 years in senior or enterprise leadership roles. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in multi-channel revenue growth, aligning brand and revenue strategy, and leading large, integrated fundraising and marketing organizations. Key responsibilities include developing and executing a unified, multi-channel enterprise fundraising strategy, ensuring the brand reflects the organization's global presence, and leveraging modern marketing and technology to enhance donor engagement. The ideal candidate for the CDMO position at the company will have a deep understanding of donor psychology, lifecycle management, and philanthropic trends, and be adept at translating these insights into effective acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies. They should be experienced in digital transformation initiatives and possess the ability to lead change in complex, mission-driven organizations. The role demands a leader with exceptional communication, storytelling, and relationship-building skills, who can engage and influence Boards, major donors, and corporate partners. A personal commitment to the mission of supporting service members and their families is essential, as is a leadership style that emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and a strong focus on the organization's values and mission.
