Location: Dallas, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating weekends and holidays

Highlights:

• Work in a 108-bed Level III NICU with diverse patient acuity and patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4
• Experience with advanced neonatal care including surgical patients, cardiac patients, tracheostomy management, and infants born as early as 27 weeks gestation
• Comprehensive equipment access including oscillators, ventilators, bubble CPAP, NIRS monitoring, IV pumps, warmers, and isolettes
• Collaborative team environment staffed with RNs, LVNs, PCTs, and Nurse Externs
• Documentation systems include CPN and Meditech
• Exposure to complex procedures such as central line insertions, PDA ligations, exploratory laparotomies, and gastroschisis reductions

Requirements:

• Active and unencumbered Texas RN license or compact state license
• Minimum 1 year of Level III NICU experience required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Experience with premature infants (28 weeks gestation and above)
• Demonstrated competency in central line management and respiratory management of intubated patients
• Experience with surgical patients, cardiac patients, Broviac catheters, and tracheostomy care preferred
