Water, Inc. is a distributor and manufacturer of high-quality filtered drinking water systems in the Western United States. Our product line includes systems for filtering, heating, brewing, chilling, softening, and dispensing water, and we also act as a distributor for other high-end brands. Established in 1977. Role Description We are seeking a Controller to join our team in a full-time, on-site role at our Carson, CA location. Immediate start preferred, as current Controller is retiring soon. The successful candidate will oversee financial operations, including managing accounting, and maintaining day-to-day financial functions. This role also involves conducting financial analysis, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with various departments to support the company’s financial health and growth. This is a small company, which means your work is visible and your ideas get heard. We\'re actively looking to improve our systems and processes, and we want someone who comes with opinions about how to do things better, not just someone who maintains the status quo. This also means you must be willing to do high-level and day-to-day matters. Qualifications Inventory experience required, distribution experience is helpful Experience with Advanced ERP software, ideally with Prophet21 Strong knowledge and experience in creating Financial Statements Proficiency in performing Journal Entries (Accounting) and other general accounting functions Excellent Analytical Skills to interpret financial data and inform business decisions A background in Finance with knowledge of financial principles and standards Proficiency in financial software and tools Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Familiarity with AI and interest in creating new processes and optimizing legacy processes Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is a strong advantage, not required Experience with e-commerce is helpful Experience with water systems, manufacturing, kitchen, plumbing or related industries is a plus but not required Salary: $115,000 to $135,000 depending on experience Health insurance with company contribution toward premium Dental and vision insurance 401k with company match Paid time off and company holidays On-site, full-time position based in Carson, CA #J-18808-Ljbffr Water, Inc.
