About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour; Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty applying for is required, preferably within one location, but can be combined. Must have 18 months of recent Step Down experience. Travel experience will suffice. License: Must possess a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required. Must-Have: Traveler must work at least every other holiday. Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Step Down unit. Potential to float to different units to care for the same patient population. Traveler will work rotating shifts of nights and days. Shifts may be variable if needed to meet operational needs. The candidate must have 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty applied for. Preferred experience should be within the same location but can come from different locations. Candidates with a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license will be accepted. All required certifications must be active with no pending items. References from supervisors or managers in the specialty applied for are required. Candidates must be nicotine-free unless exempt. Drug screenings must be completed within 12 months prior to start. The facility does not accept any license hits. Candidates may extend contracts for up to 18 months, after which a six-month break is required. Modules are required prior to starting and may be charged. All submissions must comply with outlined requirements.
