Intern - Legal & Compliance - Litigation & Investigations
$19 - $55 per hourGilead
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis on litigation and compliance matters
- Draft legal memos and provide recommendations on business-relevant legal issues
- Collaborate with in-house attorneys and paralegals to advise business stakeholders
- Attend meetings with internal teams and external counsel
- Present findings and work product via final PowerPoint presentation
Requirements
- Enrolled full-time in Bachelor's, Master's, MBA, JD, or PhD program at accredited U.S. university
- Minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA at application and hire
- Independent work authorization in the United States; no sponsorship required
- Ability to commit to 10-12 consecutive weeks between May and August
- Must work on-site at Foster City location (hybrid); willing to relocate if needed
- At least 18 years of age at internship start
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools preferred
Compensation: $19.00 - $55.00 hourly; paid holidays, sick time, and housing stipends for eligible employees
