Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our outpatient office, where you will work closely with a collaborative team comprising physical, occupational, and speech therapists. Our operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured yet fulfilling work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at BodySync PT, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their condition and individual needs.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that include a variety of therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and the use of modalities.
• Monitoring patient progress meticulously and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.
• Providing education to patients and their families regarding injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and post-treatment care strategies.
• Collaborating effectively with orthopedic surgeons, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Maintaining precise and up-to-date documentation as per clinic policies and regulatory standards, ensuring compliance and quality assurance.
• Staying abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques to continuously enhance your skillset.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic ranges from athletes recovering from sports injuries to adults dealing with chronic pain or post-operative rehabilitation. You will be working with individuals who seek to regain their mobility, improve functional abilities, and return to their daily activities. Your role here will be instrumental in helping patients experience transformative improvements in their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New York.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

Preferred Experience

While we require a minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, we also welcome enthusiastic new graduates with relevant clinical rotations in orthopedics to apply. Experience with manual therapy and therapeutic modalities is preferred, as we pride ourselves on providing hands-on therapeutic techniques to our patients.

Compensation and Benefits
