Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance, while also providing opportunities for face-to-face interactions in our Santa Rosa outpatient office. Your work schedule will typically be Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, enabling you to foster consistent relationships with your clients. We utilize telehealth technology to manage sessions, ensuring our clients receive timely support no matter their location.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish and maintain a positive, trusting rapport with patients to facilitate open communication.

• Diagnose and treat various mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.

• Create detailed, individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of each patient’s unique circumstances.

• Conduct regular counseling sessions with individuals and couples, adjusting treatment strategies and goals as necessary throughout the therapeutic process.

• Perform ongoing evaluations of patient progress, incorporating feedback to enhance the therapeutic journey.

• Lead group therapy sessions and collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to provide holistic care.

• Refer clients to external specialists when indicated, ensuring a well-rounded approach to mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will predominantly work with individuals, couples, and families experiencing a range of mental health issues. Your expertise will provide critical support for clients navigating difficult life transitions or coping with mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling is preferred.

• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices for addressing substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.

• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills with a demonstrated ability to motivate clients toward their goals.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
