Materials Engineer II
Development Resource Group
We are seeking a motivated Materials Engineer to support our Medical Device product portfolio. This role will contribute to materials research, new product development, and support of released medical devices through laboratory testing, analysis, and technical reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in project team meetings supporting materials research and product development.
- Perform laboratory work including materials characterization, accelerated testing, and surface analysis.
- Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of materials characterization, processing, and performance.
- Knowledge of materials science, biocompatibility, biostability, and materials-of-concern regulations.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Bachelor's degree Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Medical device or biomaterials experience preferred.
