Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required, including outpatient infusion clinic experience. License: Current and valid nursing license required. Certifications: BLS Certification required. Must-Have: Epic charting experience required. BSN preferred.

Description: Will accept inpatient oncology experience as part of total experience but must also have outpatient infusion clinic experience. The center provides day hospital/infusion and outpatient clinic services to bone marrow transplant patients as well as CAR-T patients. This is a fast-paced clinic that offers the opportunity to rotate through multiple areas such as infusion/day hospital, lab/port draw, clinic, and a bone marrow biopsy suite. Responsibilities include: Chemotherapy and biotherapy administration and management, including investigational protocols. Transfusion of blood, platelets, and fresh frozen plasma. Port draw, phlebotomy, and central line access; central line care. Performing bone marrow biopsy and aspiration with minimal analgesia and recovery. Management of toxicities related to chemotherapy and biotherapy. Monitoring patients with neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, anemia, and electrolyte abnormalities, including repletion. Candidates will float within scope as needed. Experience with a patient ratio of 50-60 patients a day is required. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. All candidates must adhere to the natural nail policy. Candidates will be required to complete orientation modules as assigned.
