About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Customer Officer to lead its sales function and play a pivotal role in the organization's ambitious growth journey. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and driving the overall sales strategy, leading and developing the sales team, and translating strategy into results across various channels, with a focus on digital commerce and the Canadian market. This role demands a strategic leader with a strong background in CPG or a related industry, at least 10 years of executive-level business growth experience, and a proven track record in digital commerce sales. The Chief Customer Officer will also be a key partner in strategic revenue management, pricing strategy, and trade investment, and will be expected to lead high-stakes customer negotiations, build long-term partnerships, and drive an integrated omnichannel strategy. The ideal candidate for the Chief Customer Officer position at the company is an influential, team-first leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, a strategic mindset, and a competitive drive. They should be a relationship builder, a coach, and a mentor, with the ability to bring the voice of the customer into every key decision. A Bachelor's degree in sales, business, or a related field is required, with an MBA and experience in international sales or marketing being a plus. The role also involves cultivating cross-functional alignment and advising the senior leadership team on sales targets, growth strategies, and enterprise priorities. The Chief Customer Officer will be the connective tissue between the customers, the brand, and the long-term growth ambitions, and will be expected to contribute to innovation and new product development based on market and customer insights.
