Overview $14 / hour In this role, you will be front and center in the Carowinds seasonal hiring experience. As part of a recruiting call‑center team, you will own the candidate process from start to finish by reviewing applications, creating job postings, and matching candidates’ experience to current openings in Carowinds’ operating divisions. You will also ensure all pre‑employment processes are completed by each candidate and conduct daily onboarding sessions for incoming employees. Working with the Human Resources team in a fun environment, you will match candidates to jobs, meet divisional hiring needs, and comply with applicable local, state, and federal employment laws. This position is seasonal. Responsibilities Collaborate and partner with Recruiting Team Leadership to understand staffing needs and positions across the park. Review applications for seasonal and part‑time positions and contact qualified candidates. Conduct interviews via phone and in person and make hiring decisions or recommendations for seasonal and part‑time positions. Manage requisitions from sourcing to fulfillment. Assist with onboarding operations by reviewing I‑9 documentation and onboarding paperwork for accuracy and completion. Attend on‑site and off‑site recruitment functions to attract talented individuals to the organization. Provide an excellent candidate experience and position Carowinds as the Employer of Choice. Conduct business in a professional manner and in compliance with all company policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to learn and work independently. Ability to master multiple computer systems, including application and candidate tracking systems. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to meet strict deadlines in a short amount of time. Ability to work in a call center environment and talk on the phone for extended periods of time. Ability to work with multiple candidates at once and provide individual assistance courteously and efficiently. Maintains candidate and employee confidentiality and protects operations by keeping Human Resources information confidential. Education and/or experience in Human Resources preferred, but not required. Meets Carowinds attendance requirements as outlined in Carowinds attendance policies. Adheres to Carowinds Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Associate Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays periods to meet business needs. Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law. #J-18808-Ljbffr Six Flags Entertainment Corporation
